The Rabbit's luck in the year of the Rat is not bad as there are lucky stars shining on the Rabbit this year. The Rabbit should be able to achieve his/her career goals; however, the Rabbit's temper this year will be a bit fiery and impulsive with a lack of concentration. The Rabbit likes to rely on instinct to make decisions and taking care of matters, thinking that luck is good. The Rabbit needs to expand its mind this year, approaching matters with boldness, but in a meticulous manner in order to remain competitive and achieve money and reputation. A carefully laid out, detailed plan with the right trustworthy people to help execute, will allow the Rabbit's goals to be met without too much obstacle. This is a year for diligence, creativity and change. Within that change, the Rabbit is able to make financial gains, especially if becoming self-employed or starting a new business, which would be better than working for someone else. For the Rabbit who does not want the hard work of starting a business can also do well working for someone else, where there may be opportunities for leadership in starting a new projects. Though it is helping someone else earn money and is a great deal of work, it is still better than the status quo. After all, this is a year where the Rabbit must rely on reputation to acquire financial gains; therefore, good or bad reputation will directly affect career success and financial gains. It is also important not to be too arrogant and high profile, causing envy and gossip. Though gossip may be passed off as just unsubstantiated words by insignificant people, improperly handled gossip can be detrimental to the Rabbit¡¦s career and reputation. Be also cautious about gossip regarding relationship involvements with the opposite sex, as these may be traps to cause damage to the Rabbit's reputation, but at the same time, the Rabbit should not be overly involved in these relationships, causing the loss of career and financial opportunities. Now, once success and good reputation is achieve, it is best for the Rabbit to sit back and maintain reputation, as to reduce the risk of harm to reputation, finances and career. With a certain amount of financial gain, of course, it should not be irresponsibly spent, but rather, should be used in long term investments such as low risk stocks and bonds, real estate and other non-liquid investments to reduce the risk of being conned or loss through unpredictable changes. With the money locked in to investments such as real estate, the Rabbit will less likely to be tempted to irresponsible spend money, which is a strong risk in the year of the Rat.
The young Rabbit will have a lack of concentration this year for school and therefore, must avoid distractions and work extra hard to make up for the poor luck in education and maintain good grades. Laziness will only make matters worse.
Relationships for the Rabbit are up and down this year. The married Rabbit will easily have marital discord, with arguments, gossip, and misunderstandings. Therefore, it is important that the Rabbit is patient, tolerant and understanding, or else a third party can easily enter into the relationship and harm the marriage. The single Rabbit needs to show loyalty in his/her relationship, and even though being single means there is still freedom of choice in choosing several mates, the outcome may be loss on both ends. Love is like flowing water for the Rabbit this year, as it comes and goes, so there should not be high hopes for relationships; the flower may appear real, but the fruit is false. If relationships are too diverse, it may negatively affect work and financial luck. If the Rabbit is able to place a lower priority on love relationships, then loss will create less of an emotional assault. It is important for the Rabbit to be able pick something up and let it go easily, as relationships may appear to be good, but turn out to be bad; therefore, energy is best placed in more productive areas of life like career.
Health will invariably have illnesses that come for no reason, so care must be taken in what the Rabbit eats or drinks, as well as maintaining a regular schedule (circadian rhythm). Places of drinking and women are best avoided, as not only do these places reduce luck, it may bring about sleeping disorders like insomnia, as well as liver problems. Monitoring illnesses will be especially important for the female Rabbit this year especially of the reproductive system, as neglect may lead to the risk of requiring surgery around year end.
