Last year, in the Year of the Ox, the Ox “fan Tai Sui”, where there were obstacles, but stepping into the Year of the Tiger, there are some lucky stars in the path of the Ox. However, the Ox tends to be lazy this year, lack confidence, and have many ideas, of which some may be impractical, that do not actually materialize into action. The Ox may find himself lost in substance abuse and sexual desires, combined with poor temperament and unstable emotions, may lead to initial success with subsequent failure. But if the Ox is willing to work hard, learn more, and be dynamic, this can be a changing year of renewal when opportunities arise. But at the beginning, the Ox must have courage and perseverance to face challenges and mistakes. The Ox must have the right attitude that success can be attained once problems are overcome. Of course, the Ox should not be impulsive and overly ambitious, as too many goals are difficult to realize. This will only lead to waste of time, energy and effort and will negatively affect confidence. The Ox must be flexible and open minded to try new things and very importantly is to maintain good relations with people of all levels. Share good returns and credit with others, as approaching things as a team is better than alone. Take things one step at a time, don't be impulsive and have reasonable goals, then by mid-year, there may be a breakthrough.
The Ox's reputation is not very good in the Year of the Tiger. If the Ox is too high profile this year, it will negatively affect career and financial luck, as well as lead to more stress and burden. Taking an assistant or secondary role will be more beneficial to the Ox this year and yield greater performance and returns than taking a leadership role. It is not suitable for the Ox to take a planning or consultant role, and should take matters into his own hands. Remember, there is no such thing as a free lunch, especially in the beginning, don't be lazy and rely on others, who may betray you and cause problems. On the other hand, if you set up a good foundation yourself, then work with others will be better. Things tend to mature late this year, so that Ox must take things slowly, one step at a time and not be impulsive. Carelessness may lead to contract mistakes and loss as a result.
Financial luck is considered not bad this year. But do not be overly greedy, and get caught up in gambling and over investing because these behaviors can lead to big losses. Being greedy over small gains can lead to gossip and loss. Do not easily trust others, like women and be compassionate by lending money or be a guarantor, as you may find yourself without money, without the person and with legal troubles. Spending should be monitored very carefully in the year of the Tiger. There tends to be a lot of big unforeseen expenses, so precaution must be taken. Make long term plans for investment and putting away money as one option. The Ox should be aware of home expenses such as renovations, as well as home invasion and safety.
Relationships this year are not very good for the Ox. There are a lot of disagreements and differences in goals and direction between the Ox and his/her partner, leading to the possibility of an affair. For the single Ox, even if it seems you found someone great, things do not end up working out. Be careful of relationships affecting career. The female Ox needs to take particular caution in being tempted by the sweet talk and materialistic promises of a player, as once it ends, it may leave the female Ox with loss of reputation, money, even alone and impregnated. The female Ox also needs to be careful of being the third party in someone else's relationship, as not only will there be loss of reputation, it may even lead to physical harm. The already married male Ox should avoid seeking love outside the marriage, as not only can it negatively affect career and reputation, it can also ruin the marriage and family relationship, including the risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections.
Health problems the Ox is prone to this year include excessive stress, insomnia, and respiratory illnesses. The elderly Ox needs to take care in cardiovascular and kidney disease. The Ox should avoid crowded places as much as possible to reduce the chance of being infected with respiratory illnesses like H1N1. Furthermore, areas with many people, it increases the chance of conflicts with strangers, which can lead to fights and injuries. If possible, the Ox should avoid places like hospitals to visit the sick or attending funerals, as it will make the Ox's luck worse at home, increasing frequency of disagreements, increase risk of home invasion and theft, as well as physical injury.
